Go Cards!

So, um. Yeah. I liked the Cardinals before they were a part of the World Series 2011.Through the meh years and through the great years. I have been a fan.
This past April the Lawn Boy and I took in an evening game at the new Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Love the night games! Why? Not so hot and um, FIREWORKS!
We won that night and it was simply fabulous.
Flash forward a few months and we are set to play game 7 of 7 against the Texas Rangers.
It was a Quiznos kind of night. Light, not too heavy but serious.
We have to win this one. I don't care that Texas has not won a World series before. They will win when they are the better team.
Sounds hateful, but it's not.
The Cardinals won and it was fabulous. Just like we knew it would be.
Today is much quieter than the week has been. A simple morning and a quick jaunt to get some groceries for this weekend.
Cloves. I needed cloves to make the wassail to be canned. I feel like when I call it canning that I'm using the wrong terminology because I'm actually putting the drink into jars. Glass jars not metal ones.
It's probably just a rollover term, but it still seems wrong.
Anyway, the wassail is made and canned and cooling on the kitchen counter as I type.
Olga, well this picture of her was taken post pre-bedtime freak out phase. It happens every evening at about 8 p.m. She gets her play on with a vengeance. We throw toys and tennis balls down the hall. Play a little tug of war. Sometimes if she will calm down we'll do a little sit and down training.
She knows sit and almost has down mastered as well. Now, if we could just get her over being afraid of the street activity...we could take her for walks and get even more of that energy out.
Wish us luck!
