That Is All

Yesterday was fun. Not that I did anything particularly exciting but I got some things done that I've wanted to do for a while. Like cleaning the living room carpet with the carpet cleaner. Rose will be scooting her little self across the floor all too soon and the thought of it being dirty made me itch and twitch. As soon as she starts making real treads on hands and knees I'll probably do another once over 'cos...................................................germs, ew. Anyway I got the living room and half of the hall done last night. Today I'll do the girls room and some of the office. Who knows where I'll end up after that.

Traveled to our local Applebee's with the gift card my brother and his family brought over to us Friday night. Can I just say, Mochatini, you are my new best friend. Miller doesn't stand a chance when you are around dear one. Is all I'm sayin'.

Made this here reversible toddler / baby blanket. It's for a toddler if you use the pillows and for a baby if you don't. See how that works?! heh It was quick and fun and they turned out way cuter than the picture that I had going on in my head. You can find them for sale over at orangutanbelly.com if you feel your little lovie one needs them. Which, you know, they do.

Made a yum-oh spaghetti sauce this weekend as well. I'm eating some more of that stuff today cos I can and cos I make it without salt and fairly low in fat content. The only fat in there comes from the hot sausages I cook with it to add that extra slam of yummy flavor. If you dip the sauce out carefully you can get little to no amount of the fat / grease. Eat up my friends.

Friday night I forced myself to stay awake long enough to join the other 7 goob heads in the MYPR radio show chat room. Monty, the Daily Bitch, hosts a show from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. and we all gather in there and discuss / tease / hate and laugh lots. It's all in good fun. Like the teasing Monty got while playing Dr. Hook's Sylvia's Mother. It's an okay song...it just depends on the mood of the listener as to weather or not you like it. Whatever. Anyway the second to last song she played was Don't Stop Believing by Journey. Mr. Fab didn't like it but we girls were digging it. Ever since then I've been on a bit of a Journey kick. Thus the video posted below. Stone In Love is killer.

That is all.

Would love your spaghetti sauce recipe. Or is it a secret type thing? :)

Oh Forgot to mention, I have a fabulous sauce recipe. With no meat or salt added. I just love it. A full blooded Italian gave me the recipe. She is a close friend and just a hoot to cook with.
