Thirteen Songs That I ALWAYS Sing Along With Pieces Of Me by Ashlee Simpson. Actually I can hardly ever accomplish any task while it's playing. Singing along is all I can do. She sings this song from her heart and it comes through in her voice. The words are just great and really hit home for me. My Maria by Brooks and Dunn. I liked the original that was sung by Marty Robbins I think. Anyway, when I'm singing along I remember being in the car with my mother just after they released their version. She was REALLY singing along and I got tickled. So she kept singing. :) Heatwave by Linda Ronstadt. "Could it be the devil in me? Oh is this the way love's supposed to be? It's like a heatwave." Ahhhhh so true. lol What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted by Paul Young. Oh, his voice...so sweet and calming to me. This song was used in Fried Green Tomatoes and it always makes me want to watch the movie again. Heaven Help Me by Wynonna. Her voice and presentation always floor me in a way that sometimes I have to turn off this song to keep the tears away. Corny yes, but honest. The Way You Love Me by Faith Hill. Every so often I borrow Honey's truck to run an errand. In his truck is a CD of mine in which the first song is this one by Faith Hill. It has become my truck driving song that gets played really loud. Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen. Popular when I was going through the trauma of leaving D.C. at the age of 13. It's a really long story. Get Over It by The Eagles. Usually gets played about 3 times a day when I'm really aggravated with somebody. Yet another long story. Bah! Watermelon Crawl by Tracy Byrd. How fun is this song?! Sunrise by Simply Red. Take a great Hall and Oates hook and add great lyrics and there you have a truly awesome song. Please by Robin Gibb. Touching and beautiful. Released just days before his twin, Maurice, left us all. You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban. All I can say is...it's Josh Groban! Josh, sing to me baby. :o This Is Where I Came In by the Bee Gees. Words escape me. Well, it's more like there are too many running through my head to write. Clickie and listen, but only for a few days. Then the link will be taken down.
